It were not just standard bearings that were used. The glass dispensing cams and driving gears were all 3D printed from iglidur. Also, the iglidur tribo tape was used for custom cut flat glide surfaces for the large diameter sun gear.

Yes. The custom shaped glide surfaces were manufactured by igus from iglidur tribo tape using sign cutting plotters. This is a service which is not advertised on the igus web page. I asked if it is possible, and the parts were promptly delivered.

The machine pump has 2 pump shafts that rotate in opposite directions to pull the meat paste into the clip press, the shaft has 2 ends, one side is supported by bearings, one side is supported by a PA plastic ring.
